There’s always time to add more layers as work progresses with this technique if it needs accents….most times "less is more": There’s a fine line between more and too much and stepping over that line can often easily ‘break’ a piece.

Here are 2 works in progress.

I like the sharpness of the eyes and although I feel it needs more "busy-ness"….ie. more translucent caning of some sort, I want to keep the eyes being the focal point.

This is going to need some thought . Should I add colour?

I’m tempted to but I don’t want to regret any bad moves.

Let’s see where this takes me…
